Experience one of the world’s great natural wonders on a guided tour of Victoria Falls, known locally as “the smoke that thunders”.
Zambezi River Cruise
Set out on a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River, with drinks, snacks and the chance to spot hippo, crocodile and elephant.
Cape Town
Explore Cape Town on a full day guided tour including the city,
Bo-Kaap and Table Mountain, before a final dinner on the V&A Waterfront.

Itinerary at a glance
Days 1 - Timbavati Private Nature Reserve | Simbavati River Lodge
Arrive in the Kruger region and transfer to Simbavati River Lodge, set within the private Timbavati Nature Reserve. Settle into your luxury safari tent, complete with a private plunge pool and views over the river. Later, head out on your first afternoon game drive, ending with a sundowner in the bush before returning for dinner.
Day 2 - Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
Begin the day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast and time to relax, before heading out again in the afternoon with expert rangers and trackers. The lodge offers a relaxed, intimate setting with viewing decks, a boma and frequent wildlife sightings nearby.
Day 3 - Timbavati Private Nature Reserve
Another full day on safari, with more opportunities to spot the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife. Between drives, enjoy the comfort of the lodge or simply take in the stillness of the bush. Evenings are spent unwinding under the African sky.
Day 4 - Panorama Route to White River | Oliver’s Restaurant & Lodge
After a final morning in the bush, travel along the scenic Panorama Route. Take in highlights including Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window, with sweeping views across the region. Arrive at Oliver’s Restaurant & Lodge, a charming country-style retreat known for its warm hospitality, excellent dining and peaceful setting.
Days 5 - Victoria Falls | The Palm River Hotel
Transfer to Victoria Falls and check in to The Palm River Hotel, set along the banks of the Zambezi River. Surrounded by lush gardens and river views, it offers a peaceful base just moments from the Falls. Spend the afternoon at leisure before enjoying dinner at the hotel.
Day 6 - Victoria Falls | Sunset cruise
Explore Victoria Falls on a guided tour, one of the world’s most impressive natural wonders. In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River, with drinks, light bites and the chance to spot wildlife along the riverbanks. Return to the hotel for a relaxed evening.
Day 7 - Victoria Falls
Enjoy a slower day to relax or explore at your own pace, whether that’s visiting the local town or simply enjoying the hotel’s setting. In the evening, experience a riverside dining experience under the stars, with locally inspired cuisine and a beautiful atmosphere.
Day 8 - Franschhoek | Franschhoek Country House & Villas
Fly to Cape Town and transfer to the Cape Winelands. Check in to Franschhoek Country House & Villas, a boutique property set among vineyards and mountain scenery, known for its elegant rooms and tranquil setting. Spend the afternoon at leisure soaking up the relaxed pace of the region.
Days 9 - Franscchoek
Enjoy a full day at leisure in the winelands, with time for wine tastings, long lunches and exploring the charming village of Franschhoek. It’s a slower, more indulgent part of the journey.
Day 10 - Cape Town | Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel
Transfer to Cape Town and check in to the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, set right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean with views across the harbour. Its location offers easy access to the V&A Waterfront, making it the perfect base to explore the city. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
Day 11 - Cape Town
Discover Cape Town’s highlights on a full day guided tour, including the city’s historic landmarks and a visit to Table Mountain for panoramic views. In the evening, enjoy dinner at Baia Restaurant on the waterfront, a fitting way to end your time in the city.
Day 12 - Departure
Enjoy a final breakfast before your transfer to the airport. Depart with a deeper connection to the region and a collection of unforgettable experiences.
