Day 1

Ho Chi Minh City

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, once the bustling French colonial city known as Saigon. Be met on arrival with Fast Track Service and transferred to your luxury hotel. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2

Ho Chi Minh City

Leave the city behind and enjoy 3 Signature Experiences. Discover the Cu Chi Tunnels by speedboat, enjoy a private gin tasting and lunch at Lady Trieu Distillery, then savour an exclusive dinner at acclaimed Vietnam House.

Day 3

Ho Chi Minh City > Embark Ship

Choose from a selection of Freedom of Choice sightseeing experiences in Ho Chi Minh City, from a city walking tour and motorbike ride to a cooking class, shopping adventure or history tour, before boarding your river ship in My Tho and sailing towards Cai Be.

Day 4

Cai Be > Sa Dec > Tan Chau

Board a traditional sampan to explore Cai Be before returning to the river ship for lunch and cruising to Sa Dec, where you’ll explore the local market, visit the home featured in The Lover and a Cao Dai temple before returning to the ship and sailing towards Tan Chau.

Day 5

Tan Chau > Evergreen Island > Phnom Penh

Transfer to a small boat to cruise the tiny tributaries around the town of Tan Chau. Disembark for a rickshaw tour and visit a local rattan weaving workshop. Then, explore Evergreen Island to see authentic rural Mekong life. This afternoon, appreciate some downtime and watch the scenery pass as the Mekong Serenity cruises towards the Cambodian border.

Day 6

Phnom Penh

Choose your Freedom of Choice experience in Phnom Penh, from a visit to the Killing Fields and Genocide Museum, a cyclo ride, the National Museum or Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, then enjoy a leisurely afternoon to explore independently or relax aboard the ship.

Day 7

Phnom Penh > Oudong > Koh Chen > Oknha Tey

Travel to Oudong, Cambodia’s former royal capital, for a Signature Experience - a Buddhist Blessing Ceremony. Then return via Koh Chen to visit local copperware workshops before cruising to Oknha Tey to discover its traditional silk weaving heritage.

Day 8

Oknha Tey > Angkor Ban > Wat Hanchey

Sail to Angkor Ban for a walking discovery of this traditional Cambodian village and its heritage, before continuing upstream aboard your river ship to Wat Hanchey.

Day 9

Wat Hanchey > Kampong Cham > Koh Pen

Walk to the hilltop pagoda of Wat Hanchey for panoramic Mekong views before lunch on board, then enjoy a Signature Tuk Tuk Tour of Koh Pen and discover local village life before a farewell dinner on the ship.

Day 10

Kampong Cham > Siem Reap

Disembark the Mekong Serenity in Kampong Cham and travel through Cambodia’s countryside to Siem Reap, where you’ll enjoy a Signature local charity visit and VIP circus show before relaxing at your hotel.

Day 11

Siem Reap

Witness sunrise at Angkor Wat before a guided exploration of the temple complex, then discover Angkor Thom and the atmospheric Ta Prohm temple, finishing the day with your choice of Freedom of Choice dinner at one of six local restaurants.

Day 12

Siem Reap

Choose your Freedom of Choice activity in Siem Reap, from a tuk tuk or horse-and-cart ride to quad biking, a cooking class, shopping or a Khmer massage, before a Signature Experience featuring a private gallery visit, five-course Khmer dinner and traditional Apsara performance.

Day 13

Siem Reap

After breakfast, transfer to Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport for your onward flight.
