  • LEAVING AUSTRALIA​

    • From July 6th 2022, you will not be asked to provide evidence of your vaccination status by Australian authorities. 

    • Australia does not require you to undertake any pre-departure COVID-19 testing to enter, leave or transit Australia.

    • ​You must check testing, vaccination and other requirements from transit and final destination countries as well as airlines or vessel operators you travel with.

  • RETURNING TO AUSTRALIA

    • From July 6th 2022, People entering Australia do not need to provide evidence of vaccination status. Unvaccinated visa holders do not​ need a travel exemption to travel to Australia

    • From July 6th 2022, if you are arriving in Australia by air or sea, you are no longer required to complete the Digital Passenger Declaration or Maritime Travel Declaration.​

    • As you plan your return to Australia, you must still check testing, vaccination and other requirements from transit destination countries as well as airlines or vessel operators you travel with. Masks may still required at airports and on flights travelling to Australia.
